Decent looking boat. Good price. What's up with the console? Something isn't quite right.

The original Console Grab Rail has been replaced with one that does not have a Shepherd's Crook. The windshield has been replaced with one made of clear Plexiglas instead of tinted.
Other than that, it looks all original. Nice boat, good deal.

Can't look at it from work. They have us blocked (apparently afraid someone is going to shop for a new job....)
But, when I found it at home last night, it looked like there were raised sides on the top of the console on either side of the steering wheel. My 77 doesn't have that. Was wondering if it was either a newer boat, or if the console off another model had been used.

Nope, that was the original "winged" Montauk console made from 1973-1977.

console looks right but the grab rail looks to have been changed.
