donna templeton	posted 10-10-2009 05:58 PM ET (US)         Please help me.I have a 1958 Boston Whaler with the trailer and a 35hp Outboard Johnson Motor. I've been to many marina's and the people there couldn't seem to help. The boat needs work inside and out. I don't know anything about boats or motors and I don't need to be ripped off. I'm in dire straits and need to sell the boat for my daughters college tuition. could anyone please tell me what the book value is for the above mentioned. Tom W Clark	posted 10-15-2009 12:49 PM ET (US)             There is no "book value" for a 1958 Boston Whaler. The market value of this boat is whatever someone is willing to pay for it. In New Jersey, I would estimate that to be $500-$3,000 depending on the boat's condition.
