I should probably metion that there are only 14 of these available, and that they are signed and numbered sequentially with previous editions. These will be the only models made in 2009.

I saw one of these at Erik Selis's home in Belgium a couple of years ago. Roy's photo, while nice, doesn't do justice to his fine craftsmanship. Beautiful!

And Merry Christmas, Roy.

Hi Roy,

Placed an order and paid . I am looking really forward owning another whaler, or....at least half a Whaler.

I would also be interested in a full hull and in the 18/19 Outrage models once you finished these.

Many thanks and keep up the good work,

:-)

Jorgen

Your model is on its way to the Netherlands, Jorgen. All of my half-hulls for 2009 are now spoken for, the last one headed for Nova Scotia as of this morning.

It's back to school for me now, although I've been working on a full model for my daughter (per her request) complete with her name on the transom. I'm also building a 1986 Super Sport with a mahogany interior and a wrap around railing. I'll post a pic link when it's done.

The 18 Outrage project is on hold for now, although it's a long winter and who knows?

I don't know how I missed this. I indeed will compete on ebay for the last model but is there any more sitting around tha I could buy outright...I have an 84 Montauk!

I'm tentatively planning on building my Outrage tooling next Fall. Then again, that was my plan this past Fall too. Right at the moment, I'm working on an alternate dress for my 17 Montauk hull. See if you can guess what this is:

Judging by the picture title, maybe a SuperSport?

[Smartass . . .]

Sorry. But still, how about assemling a photo series of HOW you make these hulls. Not to give any secrets away, just give us an idea.

Thanks,

That's probably a better topic for a different forum. Besides, I'd rather be building models than telling the world how I do it.
