Hello--I have a old 1979 22' Whaler Outrage. I picked this boat up at an auction in Canada. What is the retail on it in Canada? Thanks |

It is very hard to estimate the value of the boat. Generally the condition of the boat is the greatest factor in the value. Without a complete description of the boat, and any other accessories like a motor and trailer, it would be hard to guess what is value could be. Adding in the factor of value in Canada is even more difficult. Further complicating the appraisal is the current marketplace. There are many newer boats in excellent condition on the market at fire sale prices. If you give a complete description of the boat and all accessories, clearly describe their condition, mention where the boat is currently located, and tell us some of its history, it may be possible to offer some guidance. Without that sort of information, your boat could be worth anywhere from $500 to $20,000. |
