I have a used one, #5370, in nice condition, no corrosion, fresh water use, but it leaks and needs a new seal kit installed, HS-5153, which is about $50. I don't have the ability or tools to install this kit, so bought a new one which cost me $400. $75 TO YOUR DOOR IN THE 48. When re-fitted with seal kit, will save $275 over the cost of a new one, and look practically brand new. Photos available. Unit is complete, includes steering ram extension and Woodruff key. This unit mounts in the steering tilt tube just like like mechanical steering does. I use this cylinder for the twin engine installation on my 18 Outrage, as detailed in Jim's Reference Section article on jackplates. |

I should also add that this particular cylinder design makes a nice single application on a Whaler Drive boat, and was recommended by Boston Whaler, as can be seen in this article by Jim: http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/ETEC250HO.html It is a much cleaner installation than a front mount cylinder. I use them on my 25 Outrage twin installation also, as seen here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v429/lgoltz/Outrage%2025/?action=view& current=MVI_0146.flv If you're mechanically inclinded, you can save considerably. |

Yes, the complete assembly, including instructions. If you want a photo, let me know. It does require the engine's link arm however and the bolts that go with it, just as mechanical steering does. |

A photo would be great, a link to it or to my email would work. Thanks. |

Larry, Thanks for the photos, looks like a great cylinder. I'm going to pass on for now and let somebody else have a shot at it. Guys it is a good deal. Bill |
