Due to the incorrect title on my 8/12/10 post "S", and several errors that were included in that post and to avoid confusion, I have corrected and moved the information here. Waccamaw Whaler posted 08-12-2010 09:01 PM ET(US) http://s266.photobucket.com/albums/ii268/WhalerRon/For%20Sale%20Photos/ This is a very unique and somewhat rare boat. It handles really great in relatively rough waters. it’s lightweight hull is only 1050 lb. and it has the higher more spacious console with the electronics locker. It also has the reversible pilot seat (RPS) with a second cooler mounted under it for extra storage. This boat has dual batteries mounted low inside the console and a battery selector switch to use either battery or both batteries at the same time. Another plus is the new inboard 34 gal. fuel tank and hoses. I would describe the BOAT as being in very good condition. I don’t know of anything that is not currently functioning correctly or in need of repair. It has been used and enjoyed so there are some very minor dings and scratches which have been touched up. The no slip surfaces are clean but not pristine and there is some minor crazing in spots. The ENGINE is basically new and the warranty is valid until March 30, 2015. The TRAILER is very sturdy and is also in very good condition. It is galvanized and welded not a bolted design. The lights all work and the wheel and axle components are new as indicated below. It is extremely easy to load and unload the boat with this trailer. The ELECTRONICS (GPS receiver and VHS radio) are wired to transmit emergency coordinates if required. I currently have approaching $15,500 invested in this outfit and would like to recover that plus a little extra for the work I’ve done. While this is an older boat, it is a bargain compared to a new Montauk which could run in the $30,000 plus range without electronics. Again, I’m not quite certain I’m ready to sell but if I do it probably wouldn’t be until Fall 2010. If there is an interest send me an email. Maybe you can convince me one way or the other. [NOTE - all items marked as “New” are new from the time I purchased and launched the boat which is approximately two years or less.] 1993 Boston Whaler Outrage 17 ft. Too bad you're on the "wrong" coast. :-) Since you are a Yamaha fan, Jock's boat would be a perfect fit. {url]http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/018976.html[/url] I have no idea if Jock still wants to sell but good luck you guys. Warren |

Thanks Warren, I sent an email to Jack but there are a lot of miles between CA & SC but we'll see. Great looking boat though. Ron |
