I bought a 17' Newport in prestine condition. hull is in great shape for year. clean gelcoat. The engine that was on it-EVINRUDE 115 was dead. I put a 115 85 johnson on it from a friend who had it sitting in a warehouse since 1990. The engine was on a 18' outrage tender and had less than 100 hours on it- I know this for a fact because in 88 they bought a 22 outrage. and never really used the 18 again. I swapped the power head to a 20" shaft 86 which had a newly replaced lower end. the boat has a new railing and decals and looks top notch... SS prop 13X19 and hitting 48-49 with 2 people and gear. (diconnected the VRO because was not sure it would work being that old. It has since been tested and works but have not mounted the tank and reconnected the line) What would be a fait market value? not sure I want to get rid of her, bu tI am curious as to compare to my investment. Thanks for your help!

You might make a couple grand on it depending on market, trailer, options, etc. |
