196313whaler	posted 04-10-2011 11:48 AM ET (US)         I have a 63 13 whaler in very solid condition. It has a 2000 Johnson 25 (3 Cyl) outboard with tilt and trim as well as a good trailer. I'm considering selling the boat. Is it worth more separating the outboard to sell and seeking people wanting to restore the hull since it's an older vintage? or does it just make sense to sell the whole package? The hull has some stress cracks and could use paint to make it beautiful.
Tohsgib	posted 04-10-2011 01:23 PM ET (US)             Pics tell a thousand words. Is the engine a rebadged Suzuki 4 stroke or the 3 cyl 2 smoke? I always find it easier and more proifitable to sell as a package. A nice older blue with newer power & trailer should be in the $3k range.
196313whaler	posted 04-10-2011 02:07 PM ET (US)             The interior was painted white 10 years ago and has faded out so there are shades of old blue underneath. The siderails and front hatch cover are starboard.The engine a 2000 3 cyl 25 HP 2 stroke with oil injection and tilt.. does not smoke much at all. Is there a awy to post pics?

Before the direct link you use [url] and after it [/url] and it will be direct to the site. Painted hulls are worth less unless doen VERY well. You are still in the $2-3k range depending on condition.
