Guys,
I have several whalers and I'm thinking about buying a 17 outrage that I found and I'm trying to determine a fair value. The entire package is in decent shape with very low hours. There aren't many around so I'm having a difficult time time finding a comparable value, thoughts?

I'm mad I passed on one a few years back for $7500 obo. The boat included a full mooring cover, console cover, bimini top and no bottom paint with a working engine and kicker. It also included a newer trailer. I had my hands full with what I have so I passed. I would say that one was a bit on the low side but as mentioned 9k sounds what most might go for. I think they are good value personally.
Many will tell you they are great boats. Space is not nearly as open as the classic 18/19 outrage imo but the taller console molded cooler option in front as well the stern has two configurations that were expensive and useful depending what your type of boating is. It is reasonably light and easy to trailer and can fit in most carports.
