I need to buy a cover for a 1973 Outrage 19'.I contacted Mills and they said (via email) they dont make this full cover. I emailed Betty Deppner which some members said sold a good semi-custom cover for the 19' Outrage and the email address bounced back as no longer good. I also contacted an ebay seller last year and they only had covers for newer Outrages. My boat is stock with the exception of an added rear bench seat. I want a cover for protection from sun and rain here in Southern California. Has anyone purchased a cover that was custom or semi-custom for the Banana Hull 19' Outrage with bowrails??? I would like to know, material, suppliers and cost.

I have a full cover that came from 72 Outrage 21 rib side. You can see a picture at:http://www.fototime.com/FDA67C0C2E7C016/standard.jpg I also have the console cover. I would let them go for $200.00 plus shipping. Let me know if interested. Thanks Zack |

OK...whoever jumped in and bought the cover that was offered to me on MY WTB...what a low life snake!!!!!At least that person should have had the courtesy or been "man" enough to have posted a message saying they would like to be first in line if Raaaaay did not buy it. But to contact the seller directly and buy it out from under me...pisses me off!! I got back to the seller the same day and I only found out now that it was sold to someone else in the 1st hour that the seller replied to my WTB. (true the seller should have also given me the same courtesy to respond to his offer to sell it to me) There, now I am done ranting. |

Ray, In the interim You may do the same as I have done and buy a first rate "silver" colored tarp and cover the boat until you can locate a custom built boat cover. I am sure that your areas will advertise in these kind of services. Check the marine shore line outfitting community. How's the old tub doing anyway? Got those problems solved? |

Serge...the ole Gal is coming back together. Working on getting the trailer road worthy right now and putting the wood back in. Electrical will follow. I took her out a few weeks and she ran great with the DF115 |

Some years back I bought a mail-order cover for my Montauk 170...Looked at the tag last night, and it said "Carver". I highly recommend this brand for fit, finish, price, and quality. YMMV. |
