Howdy everyone, I'll get pictures up hopefully within the week. This is a boat I bought last year, and it was a one-owner Ohio fresh-water boat its whole life. It has had new wiring installed, a new 150 Etec, new bottom paint, and is on the hard as we speak, under shrink wrap. I'm thinking of leaving the wrap on to keep the boat clean for now, and splash her in about two or three weeks. I will like to use the boat through mid July ideally. She is located in Normandy Beach, NJ. Obviously I am going to lose money on this, as I bought the boat, repowered, bottom painted, and did some other minor cleaning-type work. I figure I have about $25k (some of my costs were offset by selling off the old trailer and engine). My hope? One of you guys knows the boat, and how great of a sport utility boat it is (family, fishing, cruising), knows that a new repower costs about $15k, and knows that I would like to keep it through mid July. This is a clean, turnkey, and powerful classic. Asking $21k. Bring your own trailer (or you can buy a new one at Camp in Point Pleasant, nearby). Contact me at SalFromChatham at Gmail dot com |

I will list a full inventory of what the boat has included (including new GPS) after I peek at her and awaken her from her winter's sleep. I do know she also has a full array of canvas. Pictures can be seen here: The first picture shows the boat with new power: http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o295/TheMaryAlice/whalerpics/w4.jpg |

College Biggie... House listed today. NJ doubled the property tax, which was already high. We will enjoy it all 2012; it's just that I know how long stuff takes to sell, so I figured I'd throw out the lure. |

Wow, surprised with nationally popular Governor Christie in office that the NJ pols would have the gall to let communities double property taxes. Just goes to show, whomever gets elected President, I expect either party to raise taxes in some measure to solve the nation's debt crisis. Nice upgrades Sal, regret I'll probably have to do the same in a few years. My oldest daughter turns sweet 16 today. |

Doubled the property taxes? There would be riots here if that happened. Good luck on your sale, Sal. Warren |

We have enough riots in FL right now. That is why I moved from NJ Sal, now I get to keep my boats and my house as we are capped to a max of 3%/yr on your primary. My taxes are about what you paid quarterly before the raise. |
