Its a 5 year old motor on a 31 year old boat. 15k is to much. 9-11 max

He doesn't know what he's talking about, Rob (and Matt), especially about west coast prices for this sought-after model. I sold my classic Outrage 18 in not-as-nice condition as Matt's with a Yamaha F115 with 740 hours within two days at this website for $15K, and I wish I'd have asked a couple of grand more.[And why the hell is this a separate thread?] Good luck with your sale, Matt. I'm mighty interested myself, and if I wasn't very pleased with my current Whalers I'd make a reasonable offer for sure. Tony |

You know, I gave rather serious thought to this boat, as a solution to my inability to find a galvanized trailer for less than $3500. The power is both newer and superior to my own. Of course, it meant selling my Outrage 18, from a slip, with no trailer, and I thought the prospects dim.I am surprised Matt's boat has not sold yet. |

Lesson - Never advertize a really nice boat for sale in a discussion forum. Use an internet site when comments, good or detracting, cannot be posted to the ad. |
