posted 08-13-2012 11:02 PM ET (US)         Couldn't pass up a '98 Montauk, so we're selling our '79 Newport to make room in the garage. We've owned this boat since 1999, and its seen primarily fresh water use in Northeast PA. It was re-powered in 2002 with a 90 hp Evinrude that really gets up and goes, and has been totally trouble free. Included in the package are a 1981 Cox trailer, a new bimini with stainless steel supports, a Lowrance GPS/fishfinder, and a custom canvas dust cover which has seen better days but is still very serviceable. The boat has been garage kept, and the hull is in in fine shape. The teak and seats are original, and could use some TLC, but still have lots of life left in them just as they are.
