1993 BW walkaround, has twin johnson 200's with @700 original hours. They have just received full service and run 100%. Boat has custom bow rail, new touch screen GPS, enclosed head, newer canvas enclosure in good shape. New electric trim tabs, all new side decals(new style),VHS, fish finder, Float On brand dual Axel trailer. Boat is very clean and has been well cared for! Started life in fresh water. Is now located on LI, NY. If you know whaler, you know this is a pretty rare boat. It is HUGE for a 23, with many features you will not find in boats several feet bigger. Also this hull was designed with a much sharper V then other whalers of that era. It rides great, will cruise nicely at @ 26 knots at 3500rpms (depending on load.) everything works as it should. For more details and pictures please email me at ironwill@optonline.net, please put WHALER in subject area. Thanks for looking |

I have been getting a good amount of questions about boat with the #1 question being price. I am asking 24,995 for boat with trailer. The trailer is a REAL FLOAT ON BRAND trailer. It is newer then boat. I brought it after I got boat from someone who only used it 2 times a year(launch in Spring pick up in Fall). The Touch screen is a Garmin and is one of the best I have seen. 10 in. screen. I have only had the boat a few years and have been updating it as needed. For example if you know whaler, the deck over the fuel tanks can get "soft" so I had it fixed. New LED running lights have been installed. motors had full tune ups, filters, plugs, water pump, etc. just done $2200. Whatever the boat needs it receives. I am moving up again and that is why I am selling. Yes it is fast! Boat will top out in mid 40 knot range. If you are in the market for this boat I believe you will find none nicer. For everyone who has inquired, I am working on getting more pics. Computer is always a challenge for me. If you sent me an email and didn't hear back, sorry! Please shoot me another email and I will make sure I get back to you. |

Will, Is your boat a Whaler Drive Walkaround, or a standard notched transom Walkaround model? |

My boat has the Whaler drive and is a true walk around. Pics on request by sending email with WHALER in subject area. Thanks, Will |

I now have more pictures of the boat if you are interested. These new pictures include what most have asked for, cabin, head, dash. The boat does have the LIVE WELL that is removable with pump. Small sink in cabin with small counter top and electric outlet. Could hold small microwave or similar. ENCLOSED HEAD! Again for a 23 ft. boat this is all VERY rare!!! TRUE deep V hull unlike older Whalers but very much like the NEWER ones. Much better ride. I have very good picture of the bow where you can see the shape. |

Just wondering did these 23 walkarounds offer both a enclosed head as well a standard porta potty with cover? Seems to me that some of them were with the enclosed head and others were without for some reason. Thanks, Martyn |

The 23 had 3 different options when it came to the head. #1 Enclosed Head with a built in toilet and holding tank. #2 Built in toilet that was housed under an extended Starboard side bunk with a built in holding tank #3 Porti Potty that was housed under an extended Starboard side bunk. The enclosed head to me greatly reduces the the usable space in the cabin and provides a very tight enclosed head space. We have option #3 on our 23 WalkAround Whaler Drive. |

I believe the inclosed head was only available on the Whaler Drive versions. I deliberately purchased one with the inclosed head option. I personally think it adds to the use ability of the boat. The galley sink and cabinet are standard on all models. |

If I remember correct the enclosed head does not have a sink nor electrical connect. The other options of course do not as well. That said there is a small sink as you come down the steps right across from where the head is in the cabin. Here are some images of our boat when we bought it showing the non-enclosed head option. The porti potty is located under the hinged lid. This is the sink across from the the head. Here is one with the non-enclosed pump-out head option. |

Ok I see yes the side cabinet with sink looks to be standard feature. The hardtop is one of the best I have ever seen I would like to find one for my 1990 25 whaler walk-around someday. I believe the cockpit width is very similar. I know good luck finding one! Martyn |

Venture, I will send pics. Today, sorry for delay. The enclosed head was an option as someone stated. As anyone who has ever spent a lot of time on the water will tell you, it is by far the best and most usable way to go! As you step down into cabin there is a small sink and counter space. There is a big storage space under and a electric outlet on the side. I also have some short videos that show the motors idling and with the covers off so you can see how clean they are. Finally had a chance to get on the boat for the day. Ran it @60 miles in some heavy winds and nasty slop here in the Great South Bay. 6 on board 25 to 30 knots cruise on gps at between 3500 and 4400 rpms. Again for a 23 foot boat, it offers a very rare combination of uses. You can fish, cruise, over- night, throw her on the trailer and go. Boat will most likely be taken out of water at end of month. Once it is out I will clean her up, winterized and shrink rap. So if you have some serious interest, please come take a look now. Take a demo ride and make an offer. Thanks, Will |

I just saw (up close) a fantastic 1993 23 Walkaround WD with twin 1997 Mercury 200 EFI's at Twin Cities. It was on a nice keel roller galvanized trailer, all freshwater, and only downside (for me, at least) was black bottom paint. It had original Mills dark blue canvas system(like "Backlash" has), and did not have the hard top or radar arch. It was an incredibly clean looking boat, with excellent engine condition, and with shiny gelcoat all around. Sue told me selling price was around 31K. It was the best looking 23 I have ever seen. Cleanly set up and beautiful. It is going to be shipped to FL., to some SMART buyer down there. |

L H G, sounds like a nice boat. I will put the Gel coat of my whaler up against any of similar year. I will have to take some close up pictures of the hull sides. It looks almost brand new. You say it sold for @31K. I'll tell you what, you could have mine for @ 10k cheaper!!! |

I thought that one at Twin Cities sold last year. It has not been listed on their site since at least last November. |

Ironwill At a nominal cruising speed what kind of range do you have with the twin 200s. What size fuel cell does the boat have ? Can you plane on one engine ? Thanks JJC |

Ironwill - My whole point in mentioning the one that just sold at Twin Cities is that, if yours is really nice, you may not be asking enough. Great gelcoat condition is what really adds value to an older Whaler, and 21K for yours, even though I have not seen it, sounds like a great deal. Is it bottom painted? You don't indicate whether it is or not, but if not, add in some more money on value. I am not in the market for another boat! |

Ventura, I do not have answers for you. Unlike my bigger boats that I have owned where I would know these things because I run them offshore. This boat I brought for pleasure use only. I bang around the bays, take the family to the beach etc. I believe I can get the info on the tank size or maybe someone one here would know? I never tried to get the boat up on plane with one motor. I am glad I never had too try! But Believe me I fully understand the question and honestly would like to know myself. So I will have to take it out and try it and get back to you. L H G , I need to hire you as my salesman! I do believe it is a good deal on the boat. It is bottom painted and while for some that is a minus, for many more it is a plus. Yes a boat kept on a trailer, lift etc. Tends to get used less and this may lead to it being in better condition. most though will keep a boat of this size in the water. So if it is not bottom painted, it will need to get bottom painted and it takes a lot more work and money to do it right. Lastly, I said "@" 10k less which means around 21k lol. I am in the process of trying to put together a deal on a bigger boat. If I am able to sell this one it would surely help. |

In our area, bottom paint is not viewed as a negative, particularly on a 23 foot boat. Only if you are a trailer boater would you take the view that bottom paint is a negative. If you are a boater that keeps their boat in the water, then no bottom paint would be viewed as a negative. I think your sales effort would go better if you posted a link to pictures and a price. |

Yep Peter, you are right on the money. Problem is I am not a big computer guy, and my home comp. Was giving me trouble and is now completely un-usable. I have been using an iPad to post here and right now till I get the comp. Fixed it is all I can do. I am not in any desperate need to sell the boat. Truth is I like the boat a lot and enjoy going for rides whenever I can. It is just one of those things where it is time to move up. Being a Whaler guy for more than 30 years now, I just figure this is the right place to find the next owner of this boat. That being said, I have a brokers who wants to list the boat. He has sold boats for me in the past and he knows I know boats. My boats tend to sell quickly for him, but I do have to pay a commission on sale. Boat is listed at $24,995. I have already indicated that if someone comes in at around 21K, before I take it out of the water, they will get the boat. As of right now I can not even check my emails, so if you are trying to reach me give me a call at 516-728-7523 thanks, will |

Ventura, YES new comp. up and running, what a hassle! Anyway please send me an email again so I can reply with pictures. Had several offers now on boat that are lower then what I originally would consider. But I am trying to move on a bigger boat and they may be in ball park now? So if you want to talk give me a call at 516-728-7523. Thanks |
