mkelly	posted 09-03-2012 09:36 PM ET (US)         I have a 1994 19' Outrage, leaning post & livewell, custom rails, older GPS, VHF, 80 gallon gas tank, trim tabs, dual battery...very nice condition. My 150 Merc recently froze & is toast. A neighbor asked if I wanted to sell it as is.....I know a product is most accurately valued as what something is willing to pay for it, but as a jumping off point does anyone have a guess? Trailer is in great shape as well....I run it in the San Juan Islands about an hour north of Seattle. $9K about right?

rong	posted 09-09-2012 07:29 PM ET (US)          That seems REALLY high. By the time a person puts a brand new engine on the boat. That person would have over $20 grand in the boat. If you get $7500. Consider yourself lucky. IMO
lizard	posted 09-09-2012 11:14 PM ET (US)             A West Coast boat goes for a lot more than an East Coast boat. A galvanized trailer for that boat here would be $4000 plus. Detailed pics would help answering this question.
mkelly	posted 09-11-2012 12:04 AM ET (US)             Agreed, a West Coast Whaler model of this caliber & are rare (I know only of one & have been in boating for 30 years). Might not matter, I may repower it with the Yamaha or Mercury FS. The boat to me is worth more than the cash, even if it were to sit for a couple years.

martyn1075	posted 09-11-2012 12:14 AM ET (US)             Well a west coast (Canada) Montauk in good condition with an ok engine sells no problem for about 10K better engine 14K and up. Yes that bad! An Outrage with a good engine probably about 16-20k Martyn
