I'm cleaning house and have decided it's time to let my old boat related magazines go. I have about five years of old Wooden Boat and Powerboat Reports. I also have a stack of old Boatbuilders but can't part with those.

I doubt they are worth the shipping costs to anyone but if you want them enough to pay the shipping I'll send them to you.

If anyone wants to pick them up send me an email and I'll provide directions. I'm in the mobile, Alabama area, specifically in Spanish Fort. USCG Aux, Sea Scouts, etc??

Otherwise, if the library doesn't want them, they are going to the recycle center.

I sold a stack of those along with boatbuilder and a few books when I was 'sure' my life would never include boating again. Been regretting that decision for a few years now! But you may be surprised at the response on eBay...get a few bucks towards your next interest

Ebwalk,

It's not that my interests have changed it's that my book cases are full to overflowing and I have to move them for a few days while new flooring is installed. The very old and tall Ikea book cases can't be moved unless they are emptied due to weight and, I suspect, lack of strength.

I love boats and some of the old publications about them but it's time to pare.

If anyone wants to offer me cash for my little collection I'm willing to accept it. ;=)

The library took the magazines off my hands plus a huge stack of National Geographic.

I was very pleased that perhaps someone can get something out of things that gave me a lot of pleasure.

At least they didn't end up being recycled. Well, in a way they did. Recycled without consuming more resources.
