In 2005 I refurbished interior and exterior hull, Desert Tan and White respectively, to include wet sanding, 3M Heavy Duty Compound, Finesse It II, and Mothers Pure Carnuaba wax. No gel coat work to exterior hull which has minimal glass showing at entry of keel after years of beaching. Boat has never been bottom painted.

Next, all Mahogany interior removed and duplicated to factory specs., but upgraded and over built with true 5/4" Grade A (without knots) Mahogany, all stainless hardware hidden with exception of eight number 14 philip head screws and finish washers of port and starboard risers. Rear thwart raised and rabbited into top of risers and reinforced from below. All individual pieces of interior two coats of MAS Epoxy, and nine coats of (can't remember brand) Captains Spar Varnish with UV Inhibitors, prior to assembly. It has held up very, very well.

Stainless steel side railings polished and lowered 1 and 7/8". All six side stansions replaced with new 316 SS from Fred Caldwell of CMI. Bases are original factory chrome over brass, solid and are in great shape.

Custom Aluminum 19 gallon fuel cell designed to mount in same four original holes in deck from previous Pate 15 gallon tank. Tanked was scuffed, primed twice and two coats of Krylon Appliance Almond which is a perfect match to interior. Vented fuel cap and no sending unit or guage. Mini Racor fuel/water separator mounted under rear thwart to starboard riser, hidden, and no ankle biting.

2005 Yamaha F60 EFI never needs to be primed or choked/enrichened. Fires every time like a Lexus. Approximately 350 or less hours and can be verified with dealer print out of all RPM's. Always dealer serviced except I do my own water pumps and lower unit lube changes.
Includes 13.25 X 15 Turbo Hot Shot SS prop. This engine has never pulled a tube, skier, kneeboarder, etc.. It has pulled a 24 foot go fast boat back to the dock once...:-)

Engine mounted to A Bob's Machine 5 in 1 anodized aluminum jack plate and anti-ventilation plate is raised 1 and 3/4" above the keel. Transom Saver used for top mounted jack plate SS bolts.

Parents with teenagers may not want to consider this combination unless able to adjust throttle position stop in Yamaha 704 side mounted binnacle. Boat is stable until about 40 mph and then will begin to chine walk up to 44.7 mph lightly loaded, fueled and trimmed properly.

Dash includes Yamaha digital tachometer with Trim and Tilt guage, a map light/ cigarette lighter, Navigation three position pull switch with Specialty Marine SS Bow light/chock and tallest factory stern light. 2006 Garmin 545s GPS and Fish Finder. Airmar upgraded transducer that reads bottom at all speeds.

Also included is (I believe factory) Royal Blue Bimini Top and Boot, both in great shape (RARELY used).

Three trailers to choose from:

2009 Custom Owens and Sons Aluminum Slide-On I-beam, carpeted bunks, with all SS hardware, LED lights, three aluminum wheels and spare mounted to frame. Fulton Swing trailer extension. Aluminum diamond plate step on fenders. Single torsion axle. Less than 1000 miles.

2005 Owens and Sons Aluminum Slide On I-beam, carpeted bunks, aluminum diamond plate step on fenders, single torsion axle. Less than 300 miles.

Original, lower riding 1988 factory steel trailer, fresh carpeted bunks and road worthy.

Boat has been meticulously maintained. Always run on ear muffs prior to launch (just to check Interstate Group 24 at 2.5 years old). Always run on ear muffs and flushed with freshwater connection to block, upon return from river. Then trailer is heavily washed. Next, entire boat is heavily rinsed and washed with Blue Corral boat soap with wax additive. A two hour production. Always waxed and garage kept. No UV damage to hull, woodwork, engine or cowling. Almost looks as good as day of completion, Fathers Day, 2005.

Asking $12000 or Best Offer. Boat is located mainland to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Hate to see this go, she is sweet and has a long life ahead of her.

Email is current. Pics available but no PhotoBucket, whatever, at this time. zot.

This is not a Metan Marine refurb because there is not a drop of paint involved throughout the entire project. All factory gel coat and custom woodworking. Engine is factory, warranty expired, and all within factory specifications. This boat is a True Garage/Trailer Queen! Thanks. zotcha.

Stock. Jack plate and a Turbo Hot Shot SS prop purchased very reasonably from Tom W. Clark. Sweet setup. Of course I only weigh 155 pounds, 12 Ultras on ice, and running with the tide ;-) zot.

A VERY nice 15' indeed, but 12K for a 15' boat....Ouch.
That # may need some "current economic reality" added....
or rather subtracted.
I would suggest the numbers 7 or 8, as the ecomomic times
ain't so great.
Unfortunatly, installing a new engine, on a good boat, does not increase the value of the boat, by the amount of the engine, as one is needed for the boat to function.
..
Good luck with the sale.

I have a 15' CC with a new F60 Yamaha....not sure I get 44 mph but that may be the prop. could you shoot me some info on the Tom Clark prop? I currently have the stock aluminum but am going to SS this summer.

Thanks Russ. I guess I really don't want/need to sell her. I understand and will consider your thoughts. Happy holidays.

Mkelly, if you are lightly loaded, weigh 155, carry 18 gallons of fuel under the rear thwart, and a 48 quart cooler with 18 Ultras forward of the consul, you should find that engine revving 6300 and bouncing off the rev. limitor. Keep in mind I am running a jack plate for higher performance and shallower draft.

Yes the factory 10.25 X 15 black prop is in fact stainless steel, and Tom W Clark will correct me if I'm wrong, but it was too small. I would almost describe it as too 'light' but this is not a correct term for this application.

He sold and delivered me a 10.25 X 15 Turbo Hot Shot, which he describes as "closer to a 16" prop. (Hate putting words in other peoples mouths, but this is how I remember it from 2005).

My impression of this prop is it is heavier, more sure footed, less squirrely at top, a little slower to wind up, and difficult to get over 6100 revs. All for about $225, if I remember correctly. Hopefully he will chime in.

Thanks guys. zotcha.

Zotcha, do you know how to contact Tom Clark?

Yeah do a search on this site. Or find one of his topics and click in his email info.. He's always replying in the performance section on prop questions. Very knowledgable, and very easy to talk to. zot.

Happy Holidays back at ya!!
Yes, I understand I had a nice 15' I put allot of time &
effort into. A great boat, but it is hard to get all the
$$ back during the sale.
For the shallow areas of Texas, that combo you have sounds
just right. A good prop, can really improve a boats performance, esp. on a light boat.

I agree Russ. I have a 1979 SeaCraft Master Angler, as well. She is in great shape but also trying not to put a ton of money in her, ie. enclosed transom with livewell, big custom floatation bracket and four stroke. Right now she is a 20 inch transom and can be FRIGHTENING!!! haha. zot.
