Sold to Me!
This is going to be my new sidescan sonar boat. Picking it up next week.
Thanks to Jeff Rohlfing for the tip. It'll be a fine boat for us in our shipwreck hunting work.

She makes my 5th Whaler over the years. Yippee!

A-Frame already dreamed up, a bow to protect the outdrive from the towfish umbilical, a large-screen monitor for the sonar operator, and we will be in business. I'm thrilled.

Good luck with it Dave. That was one heck of a bargain. If I wasn't stuck with storm repairs on my house I would have been all over it myself.

Good Luck with this she looks nice. The trailer looks good and the engine appears to have fresh water cooling, a big plus.After Crabby posted the link I started to rationalize a Stone Crab/Lobster rig, you saved me.

I'm really looking forward to setting this up as a sidescan survey boat. Might take a year but I'm going to set it up according to my needs, no compromise. I cannot think of a better platform for our work. We will be able to dive from it to check targets, but main use will be to have the powered reel and A-Frame for the sonar fish and the operators station all set up. Can't wait to see her completed.
Yanmar Diesel... Hmm.... :-)

Man, someone should call the cops, that boat was a steal. I SERIOUSLY thought about it, as we have property nearby.
