I was trying to assess a value of a project whaler 18 outrage and need some opinions of value of the project as is. I think that the hull is a 1986 and is in fair condition but not perfect by any means and has a fair amount of gelcoat repair work needed. The hull is completely disassembled sitting on a new continental single axle trailer with all parts including a new tank and rub rail. I would think that selling these engines as a pair or separating them would be the most lucrative way to go and then either reassembling the outrage or selling as a kit of parts with or without trailer would be the best bet. What do you think the market is for the hull as is in pieces with or without the trailer?

An outrage 18 hull in similar condition was offered on Vancouver island earlier this year for $3500. Included the console, teak gunwales, new though uninstalled fuel tank, RPS, full railing, among other small parts. No trailer.

My father looked at the hull which had been fully repaired in many places and needed only to be gelcoated before reassembly. I believe it did sell, but I do not know the selling price.
