Wow Tom, that is a great deal! Your boat is really nice....like all your others. Good luck with your sale.

Hope you do not mind Tom, but here are some photos of your 27 I have and thought I would post.

Thanks for posting them Jeff. I know you don't see a lot of this model around.

I love that model.
If I ever get the craving to move up, a 27 Walkaround would be the boat.

Someone I know wants to know the tow load, he doesn't want to have to get a new truck.

I offered Tom full asking price a couple of days ago, but I he is having second thoughts, since he already shrink wrapped the boat for the winter season.

I saw it first! lol

PS:If there is any other Whaler Walkaround 27' owner willing to sell, drop me a line.

Regards,
Rafael

Sorry for the change in plans. The boat was put away by the marina and then the wife was having second thoughts. Needless to say, at this point we'll revisit in spring. All my life I talked my wife into buying boats (she said anything as long as its a Whaler). I guess now its her turn.

No hard feelings. At least your boat helped me convince my wife that it is a good idea to upgrade our 21 w/a to the larger 27' model!

Tom,

I can understand why your wife has second thoughts on selling the boat. If you do decide to sell please keep me let me know.

I am excited to share with all of you that I am the proud new owner of Whaler Therapy, Tom’s Whaler Walkaround 27. After some hesitation, Tom finally decided to sell his boat and offered me first right of refusal since I was the first to reach out to him. On 12/10 a surveyor inspected the boat and reported that it was in very good condition. I could not travel to see the boat due to time constraints, but I could tell that Tom and even the previous owner, Frank(Island Jazz), pampered the vessel. Today we finally completed the transaction.

The boat will be shipped down to Puerto Rico where it will begin its new life as “Vagamundo”.

Special thanks to everyone in this forum who helped make this purchase possible.

Rafael

Congrats, I am sure the boat will enjoy the sun.

Oh man, good thing I didn't see this... I always thought that when Tom put this up for sale, I'd leap on it (having bought a 23 Walkaround from him years earlier, which I thoroughly enjoyed.)

Not really in a position to get the larger 27, but I've never let logic get in the way before...

Riptide,
I agree with you, logic took a back seat during the purchase process of the boat. I purchased the boat winterized without inspecting it in person. I just called up a surveyor to carry out the inspection. How did the survey go? Well, I bought the boat...

Martyn,

My cousin purchased the 21WA.
