Topic:   Boston Whaler for sale-help on pricing please!

posted 12-17-2013 08:31 PM ET (US)         My dad has a 22 ft, 1989 Boston Whaler, center console. It has a 225 Evinrude, also an '89, hours unknown. He bought the boat in the mid-90s and it has been very lightly used for the last several years. Before that it was used primarily in fresh or brackish water; it is stored out of the water. Comes with a trailer, bimini, and cover. The hull is in excellent shape and all the trim and woodwork has been recently refinished. Not all of the electronics work, though, and the engine needs some work. It does run, but is not the type that "turns over every time, no problems!" He wants to sell it but doesn't know how much to ask. Any suggestions? It is located in South Louisiana. He is also trying to decide how much work to put into the engine, electronics etc. Any input is appreciated! Thansk, Samantha
