Hey All,

I'm thinking of listing my 1986 Revenge 20 W/T for sale. I'm looking to move up to something a bit bigger in the 25-30ft range. My family says they want more deck space. So...does anybody have any idea what these go for? I'll try to dig up some pictures but I'm really more interested in a range as I haven't seen many for sale online. The hull itself is in good condition for its age. It has a 2000 Johnson with ~800 hours. Wood trim and canvas could use some work. Cabin is in great shape. Comes with a trailer that is in great shape as well.

Thanks for you input.

I sold my 1987 Revenge 20WT with an eTec with just 30 hours on it last year. The boat was in good condition. The engine was in NEW condition (a 2012).

Hurricane Sandy had depressed boat prices in NJ, and everyone assumed there was something wrong with your boat if you were selling. Even some impolite folks on this forum.

I sold the boat for $13,000 without a trailer to the first guy who finally looked at it. He was amazed at the price and didnt haggle at all.

I thought the boat was worth $18k-$20k easily.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks for the info. I'm up in RI but I'm assuming the market is pretty depressed here as well. Did you have any interest other than the person who bought it?

In the week after I sold it. :)

Word of advice... Bob Filger (Google him) did the listing that sold the boat. His ads go on Hull Truth, BoatTrader, and dozens more. I got about six leads from him, two of which were serious.

I also got leads from Jeff Rohlfing on this site, who is a god among men. His advice about pricing and what to expect will be dead on.
