I have a pristine 2005 Nantucket 190 for sale at a very affordable price. This boat can be considered as a NEW 2005 boat because it has only 57 hours on the main engine. I purchased the boat new in 2005 because I admired Boston Whaler boats since they came out in the 60's and the classics were my dream boats. In my opinion, the Nantucket 190 (now a part of the Outrage line) most closely resembles the true "classic Whaler style." so, when I was able to afford it, I bought it. At the time, I had access to a house on the gulf coast of Florida, so it was not so far fetched for a Coloradan to own a salt-water vessel. It is small enough that it does not look weird on the small inland reservoirs, and behaves well in wind-driven chop. It is ideal for Lake Powell in Utah and further-lying reservoirs. Age (I'm 73 now), life changes, loss of fishing buddies, the economy, and sale of the Florida house have brought me to reality. Now regarding the boat: It is equipped with the Mercury Optimax 135hp main motor, and I added an 8hp Yamaha 4 cycle kicker. For ease of trolling, I had a twin engine control added and tied the two motors together for steering from the helm. The boat has the fishing package which includes a cooler with seat cushion, vertical rod holders, and live well. This boat like many 2004/05 models had problems with the live well, which Whaler replaced under warranty. I installed a four-blade SS prop and keep the OEM SS prop as a spare. Two anchors with rodes are included, as is an assortment of floatation devices, inflatable vests, fenders, etc.. A SONY stereo with CD, Humminbird 97 depth/fish finder with GPS and a VHS radio complete the package (the VHS has never been used, and needs to have the included antenna installed) I am pricing the boat a t$25,000 which is significantly less than one-half of comparably equipped current year models. I have an album of pictures on Photobucket and will send the link to interested parties. I can deliver the boat to the Texas gulf coast or west coast. If there are dealers reading this post, and would be willing to take it under consignment, please let me know on this post.
