RyanProV1x	posted 04-02-2014 09:47 PM ET (US)         I have just purchased a 1968 Sakonnet from the original owner. The boat was used from 1968-1971 only in freshwater. It was stored from 1971-2002 and since then was outside in the elements at a store and lock. The hull is in GREAT shape. The mahogany is in need of restoration but is all there and in good shape. The Whaler came with the original 1968 Johnson Super Seahorse 65 hp motor. I haven't tried to start it. The boat came with all its bells and whistles...even the original anchor. It also came on its original Tee Nee trailer. Im still not sure if Id like to tackle this project since my two year old take most of my time. So if anyone would like to make and offer or possibly talk me into diving into this beauty, Im open to suggestions. Thanks for any input. Ill try to load some pics soon.
