I have a mint OEM sump cover and used cooler cleats in good shape available. I have 3 rod racks as well. Send me an email via my profile if interested. I may have the deck plate ring as well. Thanks Jim D

Rob,

You can't post a "Want to buy parts" ad for a new boat without telling more about your said project and showing pictures.

Rob is both an attorney and and insurance salesman. Probably the best negotiator I have ever met.

He managed to pick a 1984 Outrage 18 with a 2008 Yamaha F150 four stroke with about 300 hours on it. It sits on a tandem axle Pacific galvanized trailer.

No bottom paint. Sea trail went flawlessly.

Anybody care to speculate how much that set him back in Marin County, CA?

I have a masthead light that I removed from my Outrage 18. I m i g h t....consider parting with it... if some console rod holder tubes were part of the offer...

Also have some under gunwale rod holders, a set of 4, that need to be re varnished. They have been partially stripped.

Sump cover is about $40 brand new from Blackduck Gallery.

Lastly, I have a Mills Bimini off our boat that we have only used once in the last two years. I would sell this as I figure a flying top set will be more useful to us. Not sure how expensive shipping from BC to the Bay Area would be.

It's probably best if we don't learn what Rob paid...Tom's hints indicate jealousy might ensue...

Jim, check your e-mail, I'm interested in whatcha got!
Marko, rod tubes you say? How many do you need, I have plenty. I want your masthead light! I have the console fitting. I only need one under gunnel rod holder, I have three that are in great shape, and I hate to break up a set. Jim has three, so if I get one, he still has at least one set. I'll probably pass on the bimini for now, shipping costs would likely be too much. My folks are sailing up to Puget Sound/BC this summer so we can revisit this later.

The newest addition to my fleet was a bargain, and is almost completely original. It's an elbow grease project and should come out spectacular :-) The console needs some love, but nothing I haven't seen before. I have all the parts in my garage, save what is listed above.

Sure is a nice looking 18 you have there. I'd probably be mad if I knew what you paid for it ( dince Tom says your a great negotiator). I'm from the north end of marin and commonly see less clean 2 stroke powered 18s for 10k+. I'd love to compare data with you once I splash my 85 18 powered by twin 70 yamahas in the next few weeks. Congrats on the new boat!

Rob,

I only need two tubes. I think you'll have my email address from our comms last fall about Montauk seats. If not, you'll find my website in my profile.

Looks like I'll need a set of four under gunnel rod holders, I broke one and the remaining two are shot

Why is it Rob asks for help and folks come out of the woodwork to help him and send him parts, but when I ask for help locating one little itsy-bitsy part (for the benefit of a friend, no less) it is met with total silence?

Rob,
I have a full teak swim platform (no tubes or hardware) that will probably fit. It's in nice shape but needs refinishing. Yours in trade for a folding seatback cushion already in my possession. Let me know when you can stop by to get it, be sure to bring your foulies and fishing license.

Andy! Do I have to repay the 12-pack of Lagunitas you left in my cooler? I have 6 bottles of Pliny the Elder in my fridge right now...

Rob, the beer exchange is up to you, but I prefer that done on the water from inside somebody's boat on a sunny day. All high quality craft brew qualifies.
