This from the other thread. Sorry it got so long not sure if anyone would look at the bottom of the thread. This is what my came back to me with.
04/15/2014 Twin Engine Survey & minor hull review for purchase
04/15/2014 FINDINGS; port Yamaha LF115TXRB 68W X 100061 visual inspect
good, oil full but smells of fuel & extensive use, founded welded bracket
on valve cover, compression 165-165-155-160psi
04/15/2014 Stbd Yamaha F115TXRC 68V X 1030983 Visual inspect good, oil full but
signs of fuel & extensive use- compression 150-155-150-150psi & no -
change when oiled cylinders(within tolerance but low)-
04/15/2014 No indication of water in gear oil both engines- port trim not working from
throttle switch but does work from switch on throttle base & @ engine-
04/15/2014 Hull: moisture test with Tramex meter indicates high levels in hull sides &
transom including engine mounts- hull sounding with plastic mallet no
signs of delamination or blistering at time of inspection-batteries not in
boxes or mounted- battery cables & wiring inside transom area not
properly secured per regulation-wiring under helm not secured-missing
clamp on gas fill hose to inlet- vent hose dated 2007 & gas tank is metal /a
NMMA Tag attached-found standing water in aft bilge & fwd cabin @
bilge pumps- fwd pump not operating- aft bilge pump not working auto-

The summary of the survey is consistent with an old Whaler that has net been particularly well cared for but nothing unusual either.
Fuel in the oil is a common problem, especially on motors that were not used hard. Too much idling time and not enough WOT.
I am more concerned about the difference in compression between the two motors.
Moisture meters and Whaler hulls tend to give very ambiguous results. It may be that this surveyor is very experienced with his moisture meter and Whaler hulls in particular.
It does not surprise that a hull of this age has some water in it. Quantifying how much is quite another matter.

I see nothing unusual regarding the compression of these 2 engines, even when compared to one another. In fact, they are remarkably close...
