I have a 1984 Revenge that I am thinking of putting up for sale. i bought it last year needing work on the outdrive but never got around to having the drive replaced or repaired. the boat is in all around good shape but does need some sprucing up. it has been a fresh water boat for the last 20 years.
It is a hardtop model with a 260? volvo. It was previously used as a fire dept rescue boat on the Hudson River in upstate NY.
It has a tandem aluminum trailer as well that has never seen salt water.
I am looking to get $8,500 for the boat and trailer.
I would take $7,000 without the trailer.
I'm not too sure on the value so any advice on my asking price would be appreciated.
Will try to post pictures this afternoon. boat is currently covered but I do have some pics from last fall.
Boat is located in Albany NY

I'm finishing up the restoration of a similar age 25' Frontier, with the same engine. The "Volvo" 260 is a common household Chevy 350 marine conversion with parts and repair very inexpensive. I assume the outdrive is a Volvo Duodrive (dual prop?) They are likely one of the best quality I/O's built. Not common in a Whaler, but both engine and outdrive are easy to keep running. Cost to overhaul my outdrive to zero time by a local shop including propeller reconditioning was about $3000, just as one data point. Sounds like a fair price fr your boat.

Thanks Dave
I've always loved the boat and wanted a Frontier since I was a kid. It is just too big for the boating that i do.
If anyone has a 17 Montauk they'd be interested in swapping, I'm open to trades.
