My wife and I are refurbishing a 1975 Montauk. It has been fun so far, and believe it or not, we have kept expenses down (relatively speaking).

We need a few parts to keep the progress going. Most critically, I need the two stainless steel rail end support offsets for the console side rails. I believe the boat has the original rails. They are 7/8" diameter. The rail and console side are perpendicular, so the centerline of the blind hole in the support needs to be parallel to the surface of the support "pad" that is screwed to the console. The distance from the console side to the outside edge of the support hole is 1-3/4" (1-5/16), meaning that the distance from the console side to the hole centerline is 1-5/16".

Naturally, I am willing to pay a fair price for the offsets, plus shipping. Thanks! Glen

I may have what you need. Let me check. They may or may not work but if you pay shipping you can have them. Give me time.

Thank you, Masbama! ContinuousWave is not only packed full of incredibly helpful technical advice, it is frequented by the nicest people on the internet!

I'll post some photos of the project in the repairs/mods discussion area. It is proving to be a lot of fun. We are making the cushions ourselves (cooler top, RPS bottom and back, rear seat, and front "step" cushions near the bow platform), and I am rebuilding the motor.

I'll get a pic of what I have. It may be this weekend before I get to it.

I'm out of town but will return Tues. I'll look in the shed when I get back. Sorry for the delay.
