Hi, I'm looking for a 6 foot, 1.5 inch diameter Revenge stern light pole with the aluminum black light fixture base and a 360 degree lamp housing. I could also build this myself if I had just the aluminum black light fixture base from an Outrage. |

correction: 1-1/4 inch diameter pole. |

My 1990 22 Revenge W/T stern light was missing when I bought my boat. I built a stern pole out of 1 1/4" schedule 40 PVC pipe. Shaped a round block of mahogany approximately 1/2" larger in diameter than the base of round stern light which has a 1 1/4" hole centered in it that slid over the top of the pipe. The stern light mounts to the mahogany block. The wiring exits the pipe just below the top of the gunnel and has a polarized male electrical plug which mates up to a female polarized plug that stores neatly under the gunnel when not in use. I cut a notch in the bottom of the pipe that allows me to turn the pipe a quarter turn and lock the pole into position. Hope this helps... |

Thanks Norm! I plan on doing something similar with 1.25 aluminum tubing if I can locate a aluminum black light fixture. Everything else is still available, however I'd prefer to just buy the assembled light pole if possible. --Rob-- |

Wow, the stern light that came with my 1983 Revenge 22 is only 3 maybe 4 feet tall. I do have a masthead light above the windshield that turns on with the running lights. You can also use it as a 360 degree anchor light. This must be a different style Revenge than I have. John |

I made my stern light pole tall enough so that it was above my line of sight... (approximately 78") I hope this helps maintain my ability to see into the darkness. Norm |

"if I had just the aluminum black light fixture base from an Outrage." Exactly what are you looking for? I may have one. |

Thanks for the replies! George, the only part that I need to construct a new stern light from scratch is the "stern light mounting ring". It is an black, aluminum ring with a flange that mounts to the very top of the 1.25 aluminum pole. The stern light fixture then mounts to the stern light mounting ring. Here's a photo of the part: |
