posted 05-24-2014 11:35 AM ET (US)         Anyone have a couple 2.5-foot rub rail pieces or 1 6-foot section (both the track and the rubber insert)? Long story: I bought the complete replacement rub rail parts for my 13 Sport thru Twin Cities Marine. This consists of the track section and the rubber insert section. I'm having a bit of anxiety about replacing the original pieces, since the only damaged part is the last 2-1/2 feet on either side at the stern. I could easily splice a couple pieces in those areas and it would be essentially unnoticeable. The kit I received has 2 - 37 foot pieces. The 13 Sport only needs a total of less than 30 feet to completely replace the whole rub rail. I could easily trim off what I need to splice, and still have 2 feet more than necessary to do a complete new 13-footer replacement, which I could sell. Alternatively, I would like to sell the full 37-foot kit and include the pop rivets and tool, if I can find someone who has a couple 2-1/2 foot pieces of oem track and insert.
