If you are looking for an Outrage 18' this is the boat you want. Rob is all about the details, and everything is done right. You couldn't get or make one any where near as nice for anything close to the ask.

i always wonder whalers sit so low in the water at the stern, guess i am concerned about a wave over the back, still a nice boat though pity i am in australia.

Older Whalers do sit a little low, especially when rigged with a 4 cycle engine. These are usually 100 to 150 lbs heavier than there 2 cycle counter parts.

Where is the boat located?

It's likely dry stored at His marina near Tiburon Ca.

Wow. That is just gorgeous. The 150 4-stroke is a perfect match. Wish CA was closer to IL

I can say this, skip the cost of the flight as this boat is in great condition. It's also being sold by one of the longest standing guys on this community who is respected, honest and genuinely just a great person. Rob has proven that he knows what a good quality Whaler is and what it takes to restore and maintain a real Classic Whaler.

You can rest assured you are getting a good boat even with buying it sight unseen.

I will put it to you this way, if Rob is willing to put his pride and joy Classic Montauk in a slip in his yacht club and hide a set of keys in it for a guy who he has never actually met in person from thousand of miles away to use his Montauk...He is not going to try and screw you on the sale of a boat.

Yes, Rob did that for me last year so I could take me wife on SF bay last spring.....and I did not even ask for it, he heard I was coming out there and just offered it....that's the kind of character he has. I got to actually meet him and thank him over dinner the next night.

the F150 is the perfect way to modernize the perfect whaler.

Rob beautiful boat.
Explain the where the lifting pick-up points are in the pictures where you are sowing in hanging in mid air.
Where/on what did you hook the back two lines up?

Thanks for the kind words Jeff. The Outrage is still for sale, but I have a serious buyer coming Monday who has already seen the boat in person and wants to finalize the deal. The boat is hoisted from the pier using a three point Spectra harness. The standard bow and stern lifting eyes are the lifting points on the hull.

The lifting harness was made from some stuff left over from a halyard rerigging project. If you have never seen an Outrage-18 plucked off a dock with a thin little line, its quite a sight!
