For my 1978 Montauk, I am looking to buy a stern seat and rail mounted bimini from Specialty Marine. If you have either one, please let me know what you feel about the quality.

Thanks, Mike

I do not have either of those, BUT, I did just buy the bow cushion a month ago and can say that the quality seems to have improved. I purchased the cooler cushion and rod holder cushions just two seasons ago and the color on these and the bow cushion did not match. The bow cushion does match the original RPS cushion though (I have a 78 Montauk as well). I emailed them and they did reply that they recently changed vendors for the cushions so that the new ones match the original better in color and pattern. Bummed that the bow and cooler don't match though...

Mike,
I bought a new stern seat for my 18 Outrage that I never mounted in the boat. It measures almost 67" wide and is the OEM style wrap around full width seat with stainless steel legs and mounting hardware. It's great for family use but limits fishing room in the back so it's become a garage decoration wrapped in plastic. I may consider selling it if you are close to PA/NJ area? Ironically, I also have a nice original mills Bimini top from my old Montauk that is the offset pole style and mounts inside. I would sell the seat and top both for $1000 if you are interested? The seat alone costs that
