I took this boat to the Chesapeake this summer in moderate 3’-5’ seas and now I understand what all the fuss is about! I was AMAZED at the seaworthiness of the boat and how it handles. I have a Montauk 17 and there is no comparison, I wish I could keep the Outrage. The engine is a 2011 fuel & oil injected Etec with only 150 hours and wow, it starts and runs better than my vehicle and is super quiet for an outboard. If you have never had one of these engines you won’t ever go back. Top end for the boat is approx. 45-50 mph depending on the conditions, cruises at 28-35. I-command was installed new with motor, new fuel lines, steering and throttle controls, 63 gallon fuel tank pressure tested, teak swim platform re-enforced at transom, new battery and oil relocated to console. No hull damage, new keel guard and rub rail installed. Original bow and side rails with original BW helm seats. • 1983 Boston Whaler Outrage 18’

Forgive my confusion but your July special went up in price by just a bit. You have a beautiful Outrage with excellent power. I'll be watching this post...looks like an excellently cared for boat. |

Did you buy this boat last fall? I am almost certain I was in contact with the previous seller about this exact boat. I wonder why its gone through three owners in the past 3 seasons, especially with the power being that new?

There is nothing wrong with the boat - I bought this for my 77 year old Father and he changed his mind. Now I have 2 Whalers and this does not fit in my garage otherwise I would keep it. The previous owner bought it without his wife's consent and she wanted a bigger boat. The prior owner owned it for several years = "3" owners in a short time, that's all. |

mship0158 you said 3 short owners but the price keeps going up??? $14K, $14,900, $14,999 Also you said this doesn't fit in a garage? Is that due to height or length, would a foldable tongue make a difference? |

I wish you hadn't moved it so far north! It looks like a beautiful boat... |
