I thought it was a regular Newport until I looked here so I’m posting it here first. I guess they are pretty rare but maybe not sought after. I bought it from the original owner in June of 1999:
Price is $7500 as is/where is (Englewood, FL) 1987 17’ Boston Whaler Newport Center Console (a/k/a Newtauk?)
2006 90 Yamaha 90TLR 2 Stroke (repower 4-11-06)
2012 Continental Aluminum Trailer CA1617-1700 (new 9-14-11)
New steering head and cable on 9-15-11
24 Gallon polly tank.
Kicker bracket
Full cover and stainless Bimini (both original and showing age with some tears) Also a console cover in good shape.
Discovered and had professionally repaired a 6” long crack one foot in from stern on starboard side.
Because of the above I had the boat motor and trailer recently weighed and it came in at 1680lbs (I figured boat 950, motor 260 and trailer 600 so close enough?)
Comes with cooler seat, bait well, ladder and cheap anchor with some rode.
It has a great compass and a VHF that may or may not work.
I know you’re going to ask so the reason for selling is: I’m getting too old to keep up with two boats.
