I saw a 1991 GUARDIAN 19 today, no trailer. In-the-water picturess are all I have so far. I will see it Sat on a trailer so I can look at the bottom. It used to have 2 70HP twins, it now has a 1996 140 Evinrude. It still has the twin controls and tachs but is being run on the left controls only. It runs much quieter than the 1998 90HP Merc on my Montauk. The boat has not even been washed, the owner is due for a knee replacement so hasn't used it much. He was the Boston Whaler dealer and Evinrude dealer before selling his business and said the boat was used as a work boat, he bought it government surplus five years ago. The twins were toast, the Evinrude he said was rebuilt in his shop, top to bottom before being installed. It is in better condition than what I thought it would be for the price. He says it has a kevlar keel guard on it as well by the way. The upholstery is toast, but with a good wash and wax, I think it will look very good. The gelcoat on the interior and the floor is in better shape than my 1987, I really interested in looking at the bottom. The area by the gas tank filler has 2 cracks, he said the tank is half full and has 2 year old gas in it, with stabilizers. I hope this link to pics work. What are your thoughts on a value for the hull alone?

Yes, appraisals are appropriate.
Initiating discussions about what to look for in a used Boston Whaler boat, where to find Hull Identification Numbers, or details about the construction of certain models is not.
