For sale: a used Teleflex No-Feedback (NFB) cable system with a tilt helm with a 14-foot cable. Includes all associated hardware and mounting brackets. Does not include a steering wheel. Photo here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/GoldenDaze/GoldenDaze/ IMG_20140727_153921_zps8d3057b9.jpg This was the original equipment on my 2003 160 Dauntless, which I removed last weekend and replaced with BayStar hydraulic steering. I thought the cable system was really on its last legs, but when I removed it I found the real problem was that the rod was binding inside the tilt tube due to old dried-out caked grease, so I believe (but won't guarantee) that the whole thing is completely usable. $25 (because it's going to be a pain to box up) plus actual shipping cost, or pick it up in Fairfax, VA for free. |
