As I am nearing the two year restoration of my custom center console 15 footer, I think it is time I sell my restored custom 13 footer. Pics are on my HOMEPAGE. I bought the engine new, a 25 Tohatsu (Mercury) 4 stroke. it has 54 hours on the clock (I don't get out much, I'd rather work on boats). It has been a flawless engine. The mahagany interior is set forward 6" and is a bit heavier than the standard interior, and the engine is set back 6", and the boat rides differently that the normal 13 footer you are used to. It doesn't porpoise at all, and will ride over the top of a 1' chop at full speed (28mph two people)) without any motion. The rear thart is rasied 4", so you sit in a more upright position with the taller 23" high console. You can even drive in a standing position. It gives you the feel of driving a larger boat. I've had requests over the years for plans for this custom interior from Mike and others, and requests to build copies for others, but I like the idea that this is a one off build. The hull is a '61 that has no water intrusion at all, it weighed in at 285 lbs, naked. The interior and exterior have been Awlgripped.
