Looking for original Flush mount rod holders for 1996 17 outrage. Would like at least two but could use 3 as only one is original and I am looking to add two others. Thanks!

Justin - I have the same boat and do not have any for sale, but I have made mine and you may want to make/have made some for yourself.

I did not want to drill holes in the gunwales to mount two own riggers. I then designed mine to set on and be clamped to the gunwales and can be moved to wherever one wants, but mine are setting just a bit aft of the seat. One can drill the top plate of each mounting plate for any down-rigger. Mine are of 3/16 stainless - and I was out of time to make them, so I had a welding shop make them for me - cost $100 - $125 - as I recall - but that has been nearly 20 years ago. If you want to see those plans (on paper), I will send them to you - would need your address. ---- Jerry/Idaho

I am also looking for a pair of the 30 degree flush mount rod holders with the Whaler logo. I think they were made by Perko. Ed Stone

Have you contacted Sue from Twin Cities? If its a part that can be had, she can get it for you.

Thanks all.. I guess there are no email alerts for the forum so I missed the replys.

John - sounds like a good idea, but I am ok drilling the holes if I can put original parts in. I will give Sue a call.
