I bought this earlier this season for my family, knowing we would use it this season, and maybe next, at our restored Hurricane Sandy beach house.

We restored the house with the intent to sell it; we reasoned we would come out much better than selling it to vultures. We were right.

Anyhow, I paid about $8,000 for this boat with trailer in May. It is in outstanding condition, and in the water behind my house in NJ. It has bottom paint and is ready for a sea trial - but you should act quick, as I will take her out of the water soon. I will sell her for $7500. I definitely got $500 of fun out of her this summer.

It has a red bimini, cushions, two portable gas tanks, and it runs perfectly. I find that adding a little additive to each tank of gas is the magic trick for the engine.

New these boats are $20k plus. It is true that this boat has an older two stroke engine, and not four stroke. But she runs great.

The boat has a ding or smudge or two, but I would still consider her excellent condition. This is a GREAT reliable family boat for not a lot.

I wanted to add that this is a video taken Saturday, of the engine being run on muffs. I guess I wanted to show the strong pee stream, and that maybe it sounds like a Harley :)

Sold. Thanks to those who inquired.

Interestingly enough, I got about nine emails.. one from Parrot (nice guy!), 7 from no names, who sent me one line emails saying "i'll give you 5k", and one from a nice grandfather that just wanted a clean boat to take his grand-kids out on. He emailed me yesterday and asked me to call him. I did. We met this morning. He brought cash. He left with a handshake and a boat.

It is nice when straight shooters meet, respect each other's time, and all in all just want each of us to be happy.

I agree....paddleboards are the way to go ! My wife and I took i up this year and we each have lost about 30 lbs! The boat and kayaks are now playing "second fiddle". Great way to get on the water !
