RPS as far as I know is original. Scratches are gel coat only.
Hell of a deal is "an understatement".

Any idea on how much it would cost to ship to san diego

According to this it would be about $1800-2000. I got some quotes recently and the estimator was pretty close.

Second. Appreciate the well wishes on selling my Montauk.

Thirdly. The South third of the US is mild and can be fished year 'round. Wanna buy my home is S. Louisiana so you can fish and not freeze you nookies off?

Your most welcome,,and I ment good luck in the best way,,its a tough sell and the ppl who baught my Montauk came up from florida,,also I warm my noogies by the firepit ^@^ and make snow angles,,the cold feels soooo good on my back

As a classic Montauk owner, I'm just curious- why is a well priced, good original condition Montauk with updated power a "tough sell"?

I would not label this offering a "tough sell". However, the later Montauk's with no teak on them can be tougher to move.
Most want the quintessential classic when they look for a Montauk...and that idea of what a true "Classic" is, means, teak accents. For me, adding the wood is easy. Finding a real good condition hull with good power is the tougher find.

Recent diagnostic indicates only 585 hrs on the engine.
Compression 'within parameters' according to the tech.
All 3 @ 110 psi (= / - 5 psi)
No faults.
