It's not legit. That boat was listed for real on eBay a little bit ago. It was originally sold out of PA (note the DL reg). It is now listed all of CL for $2200 using the same images from eBay. |

IIRC, that's the one showing the seller's phone number with a Montana area code. Probably crated up in a warehouse somewhere, must be sold while owner is deployed overseas. Buyer must pay for boats thru some service or another, then delivery will,be arranged. Buyer will ge given three days to inspect the boat, and can claim a refund if he changes his mind.Or something like that. There must be people who fall for these scams, else they would not keep reappearing. I was looking at a motorcycle for sale just yesterday. Seller explained that I would have to make purchase price directly to his Internet bank, to payoff the loan, and the "bank" would then send me the title, after which I could come pick up the bike. Right. Uh-huh. Sure. |
