Well, some years back I sold my like new Mills original shelter pieces to a member here, but was unable to locate the 3 fiberglass/aluminum supports. They were found last week under my Mom's house and are now available if anyone's interested. I'll gladly supply pics if email supplied. They look nearly impossible to ship, so Central California would be most realistic. Interest? They're a PITA to store.Glenn

Hello Glenn. I was the one that purchased the Mills canvas shelter from you serval years ago. I would really like to purchase the fiberglass supports too. Hopefully this is feasible. Thanks Chris |

Hi Chris! I had hoped you might still be around. I've looked pretty carefully at the supports and they appear securely glued together. I could be mistaken though. Since I assume you would wish to ship them, let me look at them again and see how that might be accomplished. I'd LOVE to see them out of my garage and mated up with the shelter again. I'll post results soon, and maybe we can get together on making it happen.Glenn |

Chris, Close examination says they are not coming apart. The largest one is nearly 44" tall, and "wingspread" is approx 68", so this would require a very large, flat box with internal stiffening. Let me get to work on that and if you'll supply your zip I'll assume success and get you shipping info. Meanwhile I'd be glad to send you some pics to make mutually certain they're complete and suitable for your use, as I've never seen them assembled with the shelter.Glenn |

Ship them in a cardboard tube. Visit your local carpet or floor vinyl dealer. They will have cast of cardboard tubes. Cut to length, plug the ends and ship. Not a big deal at all.Use FedEx Ground or UPS Ground, not UPSP |

Update on this issue: Since the supports are cast in a large bow, or arc, and glued at center they are not flexible enough to use a packing tube of any kind. I have found a 46" TV box that it appears I can "customize" to make work, including gluing some stiffeners into the box. I need 54"X44"X6" for the three pieces, as I can compress the biggest piece by 12". Please let me know if you're still interested, Chris. I can send pics to be certain we have everything you need.
