Hi guys -new year resolution time-cleaning my garage-have couple of props for sale from my previous whaler with verado-did some tests trying to find right prop.
Revolution 4 17 pitch right hand- one year old-no rust perfect condition almost new-no hub kit-asking $ 325 plus 15 for shipping
Revolution 4 15 pitch right hand-brand new -never saw water - with matching hub kit - asking $ 350 plus 15 for shipping

Reduced to 325 plus 15 for shipping-guys this is brand spanking new prop with hub kit-its hardest rev 4 to find-will work well on smaller 150-200 Verados or Optimax or smaller 150-200 Yammi

I may be interested. I have a 2014 Montauk 190 with a 150 Verado and can't get the rpm's over 5000-5200 even at full trim. It's in storage now and I can't access it to verify the pitch. My current prop is a 3 blade but I can't remember if it's a 19p or 17p, if its a 17p I'd like yo buy your 15p. I'll call my dealer today and try and find out what prop originally came with the boat/motor.

Standard prop according to whaler performance data is 3 blade 19 pitch enertia-
if you are getting only 5000-5200 RPM at WOT its definately wrong pitch-probably should have 17 enertia - 15 rev 4 will work with your set up but I would call Mercury and ask-dont forget that this prop reduced rpm in pitch to pitch ratio so to even up for lost rpm you go pitch smaller with 4 blade -since there is no 16 rev 4 next best thing is 15 . I also have 17 Rev 4 for sale if you think that would work better.

I'll call Mercury tomorrow. I thought your 17p was sold? Anyways, it sounds like one of your props will work for me. I thought mine was a 19p. I'm confused why Whaler setup/delivered the boat with that prop, it makes me wonder if there something wrong with the engine.

Most of the time it's not whaler but a dealer who install the prop -sometimes they will guess or just install what they have-yes have both props for sale.

15 pitch is sold. I still have 17 pitch rev 4.Its in good used condition.

Ok, what's the bottom line shipped to 53066? I wasn't able to find out what pitch I actually have but I'll take a leap of faith and assume I have a 19 so your 17p might np be the answer. If not I can always list it here and help out another whaler lover!
