Everyone,
I'm in search of a center console. I'm in the process of making a low profile out of a revenge. I would like to stay oem, but open to ideas. Any help/ideas would be great
Thanks

If you are in the process of building a custom low pro, build or have one built, a custom console to your liking. If you try to go with an OEM you are going to probably only find a used one and pay top dollar unless its a piece of crap. You are spending the money build a custom one, sit down and figure out what you want on it, what electronics and what size, radio, compass, and other stuff and build it accordingly. Build it with a toe kick, you can put your Nav lights on it, hide the battery under the console, fresh water tank under the console. The ideas are endless....Take care

There is one for sale on craigslist Vancouver BC "Centre Console from 23 ft Boston Whaler Outrage. Helm pump available for 50$ extra. Solid fiberglass with aluminum addition on top for mounting GPS/Radar/VHF's etc. 450$ OBO" Not sure if it fits your needs or budget...

You can buy a brand new 1986-90 design Standard console from Angels in TX for around $600. You would still need hardware, rails, windscreen etc. I still wish I had bought one, instead of repairing my Swiss cheesed original!

The ones I have seen from Angles are close but not truly OEM. Their bases were wider to accommodate rod holders on the sides of the console too.

why try to stay with OEM. Whaler built so few factory Low Pros that that model should be considered a Custom. As contender states, you can can come up with a better idea than what Whaler came up with. Most Whaler OEM consoles are lacking something becuase they were designed to appeal to the majority, but not necessarily you. Just make sure your custom console looks like something Whaler should have designed and built.
