1989 22’ Boston Whaler Outrage 2005 225hp Honda 4-Stroke – 495hrs. This is a nice Whaler that is ready to fish. Honda outboard has been dealer serviced since I bought the boat in 2007. The boat is a nice compromise, you can fish inshore with the family and go offshore when the weather permits. The boat could use some bottom paint(if you want to keep it in the water). I had the bottom painted when I bought the boat, but it has been kept on a lift since 2008. Other Features Electronics Boat cruises at 30mph at 10gph and tops out in the low to mid 40's Price $17,500 This is a great boat and I am only selling because I just bought the 25ft version. This boat is turnkey and ready to go. Pictures can be seen at: http://eastnc.craigslist.org/boa/4881728976.html Thank you, Jay |

Thanks for posting the link Jeff. I thought I would add a few more details: There are a few scraches on the hull with a small chip or two on one side of the hull(nothing you wouldn't expect to see on a 26 year old boat). On the deck there is one soft spot in front of the center console that has been there since I bought the boat and has not gotten worse. The boat is located in New Bern, NC. |

Jay Can I ask who made your front canvas enclosure? Thanks Jim |
| jaydoliver |
Sorry for the delay in my reply Jim. I just sold the boat yesterday. The front shelter is from Mills Canvas(they were and are one of the major canvas suppliers for Whaler). They are easy to find online and great to work with. I installed it on my 22 myself. I really like the front shelter. The 25 Outrage I just bought came with one as well, but the canvas is old/worn. So I am going to be ordering a new one(without the frame). Good luck and feel free to contact me with any questions. Jay |

This boat has been sold. Its now time to get the boat I replaced it with, a 1985 25' Outrage with a 300Etec ready for the spring! |

Could i be nosy and ask what the selling price was? I have a similar rig going on the market as soon as 2 feet of snow disappear. |

This is a really nicely rigged Outrage 22. Super versatile with the forward shelter and t-top canvas setup. Nice job!...and lucky new owner! |

I don't mind sharing the price info as I feel it could benefit others. We all know how much we put into our boats both time and money. I did want to be realistic though, I was first going to ask $18,500, but listed it for $17,500 and ended up taking $16,000. I felt like that was a good deal for both buyer and seller. I paid $19,500 in 2007 when the Honda had 73 hours on it. I then added all of the electronics, canvas and other details. I did get a really good deal on the 25 Outrage I bought in December to replace the 22. So I was a motivated seller and didn't feel like waiting too long to sell. A long answer to your question, but I hope it helps! |

The boat you got in December, was it from the Philly area? |

I go the 25' Outrage in Falmouth, Mass. I'll start another thread on it as I get it ready for the spring. |
