I am looking to upgrade to a new platform with modern bells and whistles. I need to get a feel for what I can get with my 1969 Whaler 16. Some comments on conditions are below:
- 2000 Evinrude 115 Fitch Ram runs great
- 1991 vanguard trailer in great condition
- original center console and windshield. Console is in good shape. Windshield needs help.
- reproduction front fishing platform, RPS, and rear bench seat made out of Cypress.
- gel coat looks 40 years old. It has some spider cracks, pitting, etc..., but it still shines.
I know it is hard to give a solid estimate without seeing a boat in person, but any thought or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say in the $4-6k range, depending on condition. Upper end would be reserved for a really nice model.

$32k!!!! I knew buying that boat was a good investment. All kidding aside., thanks for the responses. I searched the site a few weeks back and didn't find anything related. I guess others have the same idea I have.
