Good afternoon all. Selling my 1971 Classic Boston Whaler. Live in Seattle Washington area. 3rd owner. 2nd owner flipped the boat to me with limited use. Original East coast boat moved to WA with original owner who retired on the West Coast. Curious about the price. Boat is turnkey ready for fishing, crabbing. 1990 90HP Evinrude VRO, 6HP Evinrude Kicker.(Both 2 stroke) Both maintained annually and strong running. Extra prop. 2 electric downriggers. 1 Scotty 1106 telescopic boom, used a few times, 1 Penn 800. Custom 30 gallon Aluminum fuel take mounted in the bottom of the original Mahogany? Center console. Danforth anchor and rope. All safety gear to get you Coast Guard compliant. Trailer lights updated this spring. Trailer Calkins. GPS/Sonar combo. Also have 4hp Honda pot puller, 2 shrimp pots and 1 crab pot for good measure. 44 year old boat so there are a few scratches in the hull but nothing major. Seems like the Whalers are worth more back east. I am thinking at starting at $8,000. Does that seem reasonable? Again, this boat s turn key ready. Trailer to the launch and go. Thoughts????? How does one post a picture?
