I have a 1989 Classic Montauk for sale in Newport, RI.
Hull is in excellent condition. Exterior hull gelcoat recently compounded and waxed; looks great. Fresh Micron blue bottom paint. Recent factory rub rail. Stainless bow and side rails. Teak trim in excellent condition. Forward cooler seat with backrests. Whaler swing seat with teak backrest and rod holders. New Rule bilge pump and switch. Removeable swim ladder with holder. Two Tempo 6 gallon tanks. Blue Mills bimini with sliding rails. Helm cover. Full winter cover. Fire extinguisher, fenders etc.
Trailer: LoadRite bunk trailer. Excellent condition. All lights work. New safety chains.
Motor: 2000 Yamaha 100 4 stroke. Excellent condition with low hours (600). Motor has no issues and runs perfectly. Racor fuel/water separator. New fuel lines. New electric tilt motor. Starts, runs and purrs like a kitten. Recent water pump. Maintained by a certified Master Yamaha mechanic. This is the largest motor you can put on this Montauk and it handles it really well. Great for pulling a skier or tubing. Very powerful and smooth.
I've owned this boat for over 10 years and am too busy to use it. I've babied it...never fished or abused. Just puttering around the harbor with the ocassional blast over to Jamestown. I own 6 boats, am a licensed 100 ton USCG captain, knowledgeable yachtsman and can honestly say this is one of the nicest Montauks around! $12,000 or b.o.
