Does anyone have a product they use for removing old varnish from fiberglass, without harming the fiberglass?

Derk,

Hmm rough one for a "product" might try your local tool rental center and obtain one them big compressor things with a jacket hammer attached should do the trick use a light touch though --- heh heh ---just kidding just kidding a little winter time humor ---

I believe "Interstrip" made by Interlux will do the trick it seems to clean up just about any paint or varnish on fiberglass.

Hope this helps Tom

Tom,Jackhammers & I don`t get along too well. I`d rather take a beating than use one of those for "anything". So I shall use the second suggestion. Actually, I have used Interstrip on several bottom strip jobs at work & you`re right, it works well. Thanks for suggesting it.
