First off this is a great board and I love my Whaler.
I have read about the bronze drains that run through the transom and decided to check mine. Two came out very easy and it appears water has seeped into the transom. The plywood is still solid and there doesnt appear to be any delamination.
I went ahead and pulled the rear sump thru hull and found wet foam. I plan to use the vacuum method, I read about on this board,to suck out any water I can and replace the bronze fittings.
Should I be concerned with the transom even though it appears to be solid? Also is there a way to do a search past 100 days?
Thanks, Mike

You can see traffic for the last year, not
just 100 days. It's the last item in the
pull down.

But good point -- we are going to need to
look past a year RSN -- the board's first
birthday is coming.

I had done a search for the last year near the beginning of January and it resulted with a start date of Jan. 1 2001. Maybe it was my computer, who know's. Now it seems to go back 365 days.
I had my transom checked out and there is no problem. I would of thought BW would have epoxyed the wood surrounding the opening before inserting the brass tubes since this could be a place of water entry.
